Gosh, I'd love to be there. I'm surprised why so many Londoners don't like there city. Or, this seems to be the wrong crowd to answe. When you live in a city whole life, you gotta be proud of it, no matter how many shortcomings are there!!

Cant say i've been to all of the other cities in the world, so i cant comment fairly but i like london a LOT if that helps any? lol

London and Paris are the best cities in the World!!! I like the atmosphere there....... you really feel like you are in Europe. and of course the shopping in these cities is great!!!!! ( and the night life in London is the best)

NO! london sucks and i live there! there are much nicer cities out there. Paris is lovely and has a great nightlife. Rome is beautiful as is Barcelona! personally i would choose Paris as the best city in the world!

Totally depends on how you are rating "the best" of course.
London is a fantastic city to live in, but the best? That's up to you - it's all personal judgement.
Personally, I wouldn't live anywhere else. And I've lived in a few great cities across the world.

Vancouver is generally considered one of the best large cities in the world to live in when taking into account a range of lifestyle factors.
Personally I love New York, it has an energy I've yet to encounter anywhere else, although I do find it quite racially seggregated - but it is America so no surprise there.
London is great but not the best, up there though

U see I have grown up in London(even though I come from Liverpool) an d it is so cool. It is culturally diverse and there is friendship and love everywhere. I JUST DONT HAVE WORDS TO DESCRIBE MY BEAUTIFUL LONDON

It all depends what you personally want from a city.
London like most capital cities is a massive place and cosmopolitan in its nature. It has its good and bad points.
As a Scot [living in Scotland`s fourth city, Dundee] I prefer visiting Edinburgh.

Well, i think it is, but that is probably because I have emigrated (32 years ago) and miss it terribly. Of course my memories are back in the early 70's, and when I come home everything is so different, and probably for the worst - not better!, but still I like London.

It depends on who's asking the question? I would say that London is one of the best but not the best. I am from the UK and speaking from the heart.
