Tigers - OK I know but......................When I was in Thailand my 72 year old mother & my two adult daughters sat and patted the tigers in the Budhist Tiger Temple. They kept going back to the tigers, getting photos, etc...but I could not do it. I call it a heightened sense of self-preservation! but it felt like fear. I guess you could say I'm afraid of life threatening situations. (The tigers are not drugged and have been known to injure visitors) I dont like public speaking either.

My fears tend to revolve around what my son might do. I'm afraid he'll have a car accident when he gets his license. I'm afraid he'll get too involved with a girl while he's still too young to have a serious relationship. I'm afraid he'll want to join the armed forces.
