Do you match the color of your socks to your pants or shoes?

I always wear white socks except when I'm wearing business attire so I match it with either my shirt or pants or shoes.

For casual attire, i.e. jeans, then it doesn't matter.

For business or dress attire, it's a personal preference thing, but fashion "rules" say match your shoes. I think that having socks (or in a woman's case hose) match the shoes give a better leg line, and it's less obvious under slacks. Your socks should not be the focus of your outfit, so they should blend will with your shoes.

No, socks are an accessory. They should be played down, but coordinate with your color splash of your outfit. Unless you are really dressed up and wearing black pants, then maybe stick with black socks.

yes men do it.bcoz if u wear a socks whose color is totally different from the color of ur pants n it tends to be visible,how would it look.Just imagine,red socks visible in formal white pants,especially when u r conducting a board meeting !!!!!!!!!!!

I match it with my shirt if im wearing shorts or jean skirt. Oherwise I'll just wear white or black socks.
It also depends how ur dressing:
Nice: Match w/ pants.
Casual (jeans & nice shirt): match it with ur shirt, exept w/orange (if u know what I mean).

My bra matches my underpants. Where white and black socks, they go with everything.

i do some times if im showing my shoes or my outfit off
