try role playing games by finding a local circle to join eg. dungeons and dragons, warhammer, vampire, ravenloft, werewolf, runequest, dragon warriors( darn thats an oldie ), or even dungeoneer. try video games you never know you could be a closet profession gamer and since real life seems to bore you( people dying horribly everywhere, starvation, war, crime, etc... ) maybe you need a few days in an unreal world ( where once again people dying horribly everywhere, starvation, war, and crime, etc... but doesnt have to be, since the world is of your own design) so if this life bores you try creating your own, just look at the harry potter story; simple story that becomes more complex over time. Dragons Forever.

Why don't you start making holiday presents for needy kids or the elderly? There are so many things to do, some fun; some not so fun but you should never ever be bored. Be creative, write, cook, help others, clean your home, help someone in need that can't do these things for themselves....reach out to people. Don't waste your life being "bored".....get going and enjoy every second of it!

Why not get crafty since the holidays are coming? Not sure what you are into or if you have kids, family, etc. but I am sure you can find something out there to do....How about a latch hook kit?
