I got a copy editor fired by adding an insult about myself (Jay Mariotti is a ****) right after he edited it and I showed the boss and he fired him for trying to defame me. I hated that guy and will never tell my boss the truth. Now all the lower level guys call me Gay Mariotti and the even got Ozzie Guillen into it, he called me a ****** ****. What do I do?

why worry about it. Do theseguys pay your bills or buy your dinner? Do they buy your clothes or clean your house. If you answered no to these questions then why do you care? A persons self respect is all they need. If you continue to worry about what people think of you then you will tear yourself apart because you will start beleiving them.
Keep your head up, your not alone. Most people in the world are so worried about what others think that they slowly become someone they never thought they would be. Societies idea of what a person is and what a person should be is crazy. Like i said just be you and forget the jelous and less cultured people on the lower level. You have you and thats what matters......when you lose you what is left?
