But then again what gives people of other faiths the right to say something objectional about their faith?I just don't understand why people think saying these things will make the world/society better. If everyone left them to practise their faith without everyone- including much admired religious leaders who should know better- jumping on the slur muslims bandwagon than there wouldn't be all this protest. And can you honestly not understand how a people that is facing animosity from virtuallly all fronts can object to comments that only serve to increase the negative attitudes towards them? The fact that you see nothing wrong in such an act demostrates the success that muslim haters have achieved in inoculating a lot of people against wrongs done to them and their religion.

Nobody has the right to destroy anything that belongs to another, whether we're talking about the belongings of a religious order, a country or a person. But why pick on Moslems? What about all the other things that have been destroyed around the world by people of all religious denominations and are continuing to be destroyed for no real reason other than greed or the lust for violence?

brazoian get a life, you didn't even anwer the question..
Yeh and they also shot a Nun in the back in retaliation of what the pope said, I mean that is low!!

When the Passion of Christ came out the Jews were offended, But did they go try and shoot Mel Gibson?
When the Da Vinci Code came out, Did christians try and shoot Tom Hanks?

YES people were offended over that but did not retaliate with violence,

BUT when the pope comes out and quotes something 400+ years old that most islamic, muslims would not even understand.. they go shoot a nun and fireball churches?

So what does this say about their religion, if they believe violence is the answer,

They lack in scientific and modern education......All they learn is about their religion. This type of education makes them narrowminded and this has given them the right to vandalise, at the drop of a hat.

Some Danish cartoonist writes a cartoon, they burn buses in India and protest in the only way they know, the violent one.
What connection India has with the Danish cartoonist.?

I agree. Not just destroying churches, but they've acutally murdered a nun and her bodyguard. I thought the islam was supposed to be a peacefuly regilion. All you ever see, is them getting angry at people for having the right of freedom of speech, and killing people who "dishonour" the image or name of Mohammed. Your not doing yourselfs any favours by reacting in this way.

you are right, but unfortunately it offends alot of the muslims what was said by the pope, i mean come on, is he stupid or what after what is going on in the world, and what did he expect, and then apologise later, too late, he had no right, there is so much going on in the world and he made a comment of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh), what about Bush and Blair?

What i found ironic is that the pope quoted a remark about the unneccessary violence that jihads cause...and they protested towards this with even more violence.

However i don't think you can generalize about muslims in general. These that we are talking about are the radical muslims, and unfortunately jihad and its accompanying violence is part of their culture. It is going to be extremely difficult to convince them of the contrary.

They do not have the right. They are out of control because we have treaded too softly for too long. We should take swift and decisive action against the muslim whatever the costs.
