He will also be distant and either try to have sex with his wife more often or avoid it without giving a logical reason.

It can go both ways. There might be signs and there might not be. Not picking up the phone calls like he use to if he always did before. Going out more often with his "friends" or having to do errands for family more than usual. The affection/sex has died out a bit. In my case, he was home less often, less interested in the bedroom (early in the affair he was MORE attentive, then there was a sudden decline), more critical, more suspicious of ME cheating, etc. There are a lot of sites on this. I saw an Operal show on the signs and my husband had every one. One night I came home and he was with her on our own couch with our baby son in his walker. Gross. I left and never looked back. well there are many, one is if he goes outside to use his cellphone when ur around, he is always gone and when u call him on his cell phone he does not answer, or look for numbers in his cell phone but it might be locked and have a pass code because he doesn't want u to look in it. and like i tell anyone one who ask me this question pray and ask god to show you what is going on and is he cheating and he will show u. i have done this and i found out the truth i have told my cousin to do this and she found that he was cheating the very next day.

Look for clues such as him owning things you never bought him, that you know he wouldn't buy for himself, such as a new tie or some cologne that you don't recognize.
Check his receipts, see if he has been footing the bill for any expensive restaurants that you know he didn't take you to.
