I have heard that they had laser-drilled holes in the front-right wheel, that kept it from building pressure. Therefore he could keep it from loosing grip, as the run went on. Has anyone heard anything more about this?

Its one of those gray areas in the rule book, but they have been told not to do it again.

I believe that is a unconfirmed rumor that is being spread to tarnish the win that Kevin experienced. I have been on line with Nascar and they still have not confirmed any statements.
I would be very disappointed to find that this was true.

I have not heard about the one yesterday. The one in March was the last one I heard about.

I haven't heard that. I'll be anxious to hear if this is true or not. And very disappointed if it is true.
