Great answers! Thank you so much. There is a problem: I CAN'T decide which answer is best since all are so good! I have to put this to vote. Please don't hate me... Maybe my next Q is: is Y!A ever fair?

Love is fair depending on the kind of heart love resides in. The kind of person you are makes out the kind of love you give. One thing I know for sure is that in love there is no way of escaping getting hurt every now and then. It comes with the package. But that doesn't make love unfair.

Nothing in the world comes easy. Love is a very strong word. Is love fair it depends sometimes it is sometimes it isn't. Love depends on how we picture it and it depends on who we are with. Sometimes love may not seem fair, when you have a problem in a relationship but no relationship is a hundred percent perfect. so the answer to your question is maybe love can be fair or unfair depending how you envision it and this of it.

Dont think so, love isnt always fair but then again its subjective. Some people have all the luck whereas others dont. Its a hit n miss kinda thing

Love is a state of being - it just is, in fact it is all there is.
If you are experiencing it as unfair - try just giving it ALL the time and seek not to get anything in return. The realisation: you had it in unlimited abundance all along.
BE the SOURCE of that which YOU choose to EXPERIENCE.

Its only fair if both sides puts in equally. Actually each should put in more than the other to make it blissful. But then that's not fair is it?

Love is sometimes fair because life is sometimes fair. Love is never always fair because people are not good at their core and sometimes act selfishly.

Never love anyone very much and you will never be hurt. Love isnt an instinct its aquired,into each child is born hunger and the strong urge of preservation of himself and his kind nothing else.Certainly not love.

i think it depends on who you are in love with and what sort of situation the people are in as love can be fair if things go according to plan.
