Well, I think sometimes wome prefer younger guys than the the olders. However, this is not the case in general. I tend to believe that women prefer older men when they think about it seriously. This could be due to several reasons which I don't know exactly but I can list the ones that I know.

The first reason in my list is the security. Although we can not say that older you grow the more secure you become, but still when generally speaking, this point sounds right. The average person secures him self as he grows up. So women might be attracted to them because they want a share of that security as well.

The second reason is the experiance. No one can deny that the older you are, the more experianced and wiser you become. So women like that in a man; to be experianced, wise, has discovered the dark secrets of life, knows how to enjoy it, and most of all, they know how to appreciate theirs and others' lives.

Those were the reasons that i came up with and I don't know if there are more other than these or even if they were right. After all, it's just a personal openion.

I raised my kids and don't want another child to raise.
My own personal experience is that younger men want a momma to tell them what to do when to do it and for how long and pay their way thru life.
These guys more often than not have major financial worrys and think an older woman won't mind paying their way out in return for all they have to offer her sexually.
These guys are too easy to see thru.They want to come to the womans place rather than take her to theirs.They want her phone number but don't have a phone of their own yet.They don't have a car or a job.They're EXCELLANT listeners.They want to know all about the woman giving way too few details about themselves.They go far out of their way to make the woman feel special so she'll feel good about raising him.
These guys are funny.They claim to be in love after the first night-meaning they're desperate for a place to stay.
I want someone who'll teach me some new tricks not the other way around.

Yes I would say they do. My girlfriend is 7 years older than me. I prefer older women as they are more settled and have a general better experience and outlook on life (They are also more experienced in the pleasurable departments!). I think she prefers a younger man as it makes her feel younger.

i think that possibly when you get to your 30s and 40s there are simply more men in their 20s and 30s about. Older men are staying at home with their families or going fishing or something - the available 'pool' of single men just tends to be younger, so as an older woman they are the ones we are more likely to meet?

It's so funny because men always seem to want women 10-20 years younger than themselves, but who doesn't want to be with someone younger, i think most women would at least prefer to be with someone their own age or younger if possible.

No, I don't think that's a "general" rule for older women (speaking as one myself). Young guys are boring and only good for one thing and that's it. Older men are interesting, have the time and money and are tender lovers; and if you get lucky, they are hard too ! lol Godloveya.

Generally speaking women are smart enough to know that it isn't age but personality, common interests, and compatability irregardless of age. That is what I look for as well as honesty and trustworthiness.

No i dont think they prefer them, maybe its just a good feeling to be able to pull a younger guy, and its flattering. as long as they are decent sexy and not a geriatric i think woman dont mind the age too much.
