Well shame on you young lady, Free speech indeed!!
Where do you think you are?
If free speech existed, I would be able to say that the Muslim faith is the greatest threat to world peace in our time, and they should all go and get 99 virgins.
I would also be able to say fcuk em, wakners.
But I can't, because there is no free speech anymore.
Not for us anyway.
Lucky I didn't say those things then eh?

Why are you so surprised?
Yahoo dont want to get blown up by an offended Muslim.
Free speech for everyone (but only if the Muslims agree with the content).

Sorry, you have no freedom of speech on the Internet, unless you own the Web site. Yahoo is a company and pays a lot of money for storage, servers and bandwidth. If the company decides that you are violating its rules, it has every right to ask you to leave. You are in Yahoo's living room and you should behave the way you would like someone to behave in your living room.
If I was in your living room and saying things that made you uncomfortable, you have every right to ask me to shut up or leave. There is no freedom of speech in your house. It is the same on Yahoo and on the Web site of any other company.
If you want freedom of speech on the Internet, start your own Web site and pay for your own bandwidth and servers.

Political correctness is a load of bull..
Yet again we over-react due to the sensibilities of others whilst our freedoms are eroded on a daily basis by these same people. They complain about all that we do and say and expect us to tolerate them. These people breed intolerance... and I'm afraid that this is probably their sole objective.
I do not think that we should maintain a dignified response and applaud your response here.
Let us all utilise subtlety when composing our questions and see if we can beat these zealots!

Yes, I'm with you ALL THE WAY. I'm pissed off not being allowed to speak my own mind in my own country. And as for yahoo........
And what's more, I'm bloody amazed at the number of "bad" ratings you've got here, yet only one or two actual 'bad' answers. Does it make you wonder who's doing all this "bad" rating, or is that a foregone conclusion......?
Oh yes - that's another point - that same person is probably at this very moment ticking the "insulting...." line in the abuse reports page.............. - and yet again, yahoo will fall for it.....!

Depends what the question was and how it was worded. I agree that some people overreact and theists in particular are amazingly hypersensitive to perceived criticism, but on the other hand, I have read many 'questions' that are very inflammatory.
