I simply don't continue working for anyone who doesn't understand me and have some compassion. Sure that cuts a lot of people out....
At my college there's a psychology professor who said she's dyslexic. Don't know if she has other learning things too, but she has a good job and we don't make fun of her, so it's possible to get into a situation where people won't do that anymore.

Why not decide today that it no longer matters to you what other people think and say. Make your opinion of yourself more important than any one elses, instead of the other way around.
You define yourself - others cannot do this without your say so.
Remove the victim mindset.

Some people are slow at maturing. Puberty seems to last forever for them. Have pity on them.
Just because they haven't realised their own deficiencies doesn't mean you can't point it out to them in return!

Because they're JERKS and they make fun of
you to hide their own insecurities about themselves.
They think that if they point at you, attention will be on you &
no one will notice their imperfections.
They're losers!!! Don't worry about them.
They're not worth your time!

Because there are a lot of mean, thoughtless people out there. It's crazy.
