How do they get away with making up private thoughts and reasons for the behaviour of the royal family- do they have evidence of this? How true do you think it is? And does she really have as good a sense of humour as they gave her?

It was really interesting, and painted the royal family in a good light, food for thought and worth seeing.

I believe the Queen has a fantastic sense of humour. As long as they state that it isnt fact, and I am sure that at the beginning of the film they would say that, then there is no reason for them to make a film summising what the Royals think.

No I haven't seen the film, only clips from it. Don't you think that they have made Helen Mirren look like the woman (Maureen Lipman) who used to do the BT adverts years ago, when she was proud that her grandson had an "ology" in his exam results?
