There was a time when carbonized match was introduced and the burning splinters would not fall off. I used to light it and hold the already lit off portion so that the whole stick gets burnt.... :)

Sometimes, but I still like watching candles better.
I watched a certain someone nervously spill matches all over the place, in a pub, last night.
It was a delight. I hope he's not too nervous to return to me...

Yes and I often got my fingers burnt too.
Did you know that lighting a match after you have had a poo kills the smell. It is absolutely true go and try it. Mind you don't burn your bum though.

Nah, I have a fear of fire. My Mum used to and then eat the burnt bit off the end, she was pregnant at the time. Strange lady LOL

yeah i have but i make sure that my daughter doesn't see -i try to convince her i am a sensible responsible adult!
i like the smell when you blow them out too...... i play with candles, i light one and then dip the used match into the melted wax and set it alight again....
i'm not a firestarter honest....

I do have a fascination with Fire, but preferably on a candle, or in a Fireplace....outside fire pits are nice too.
