Yes I do know my own number. But I'm pretty good at remembering numbers anyway and my number's quite an easy one too.

Try tapping yours out on the number pad - you may find the positions of the numbers stick in your head better than the numbers themselves (though this can work against you as computer keyboard number pads are upside down compared with telephone number pads!!)

It may be that you number is just a very awkard one to remember - consider changing it to one you can learn more easily.

Cheers!

NOt got a clue. And yes, I've had the same number for about six years. However, I never dial it, so I don't remember it. I can look it up, though, which is the important thing. I know its got a 2 in it, towards the end. Probably not much help if you want to call me!

So, don't fret - I don't consider it a memory loss, as I never knew it in the first place. I've got much more interesting things to remember!

Yes - I have to give it out about 10 times a day for work purposes. Now if you'd asked if i knew more than three people's numbers in my phone that'd be a different thing.

I know exactly what you mean. At first, I always forgot too. For one, I never call myself on my own cell number, right? But of course I have learned to always memorize it and I have changed numbers about 4 times in the last 7 years.

I know my number and my parents, but that is as far as it goes. I used to remember lots of numbers, but with mobiles you don't need to. The phone number for noel edmunds multi coloured swap shop is 01 811 8055. How old am I.

Ive kept the same number for years now & no i can never remember it. Although i remember the last 6 numbers fine, i always mix the 1st ones up. I dont see the need in memerising my own number anyway, so its not just you.

It took me a while to remember and sometimes I still forget. I tell you what though, it pays to have your home number listed and also your cell phone number stored in your cell. I lost my cell not to long ago, and the lady that found it looked through my phones until she came up with "home" and she gave me a call to tell me she had found it. She was nice to bring it to my job too. I gave her $10 which she refused but I convinced her to take it.

Yes, but I never knew my old one off by heart for the eighteen months I had it. I think it's just some numbers are easier to remember than others.
