Worst case: He's trying to wed "off the books" for some reason.
Regardless of where you wed, make sure that the license is legit as well as signed and witnessed.

You should ask if he wants to put you to sleep, put you in a bathtub full of ice, then remove and sell your liver (Hong Kong) or have you bumped off and buried in the desert (Las Vegas).
Seriously, sounds like he wants a quick marriage and doesn't want to have your or his family around; think of the expense to get just your immediate family there. And going overseas? Customs? Osama-related scrutiny?! I think he's either thinking with what he usually sits on or he's up to no good.
How long have you known him, and what do you REALLY know about him???????

He wants something quick and easy I think. Is he a shy person? MY husband and I got married in Jamaica because we did not want to deal with the drama of a wedding. Maybe he chose those 2 places because he always wanted to go there. Ask him.

One is s shopping mecca of sorts, the other the gambling city of the world. The world of glamour and fast bucks. Anything wrong ? It really depends what you have in mind. But it does in a way shows his value system. So girl unless you are prepared to dissolve like sugar in a H20 for that is what marriage is, better sort out your value system. Marriage and specifically the wedding ceremony is but the graduation ceremony of courtship, the real job comes after that. GF abd BF gets not only to play Husband and wife team but also father and mother eventually. So you are marrying the father of your child to be....and what do i make of it....is not really for me to say....

Why don't you ask him? It could be as simple as "Those are just two places I've always wanted to visit," or as ominous as some of the answers above this one. If you don't trust him, if you don't believe his motivations are sincere, don't marry him.

He offered or he proposed. There is a difference.
I would be more concerned about an "offer" rather than the location.
