Try cranberry juice or cranberry tablets. The cranberry juice should either be the 100-percent juice or the diet version, as the high-fructose corn syrup used as a sweetner in many juices can also irritate the situation. Drink lots of water. Caffeine can also be an irritant, so cut back on coffee and drink without sugar if you can stand it. Tea (especially green tea which is naturally decaffeinated) can help with getting plenty of fluids, and you should drink as much water as possible.

If you're on your way to recovery, that's very good but you should have gone to the doctor in the first place to make sure that the infection doesn't go upto your kidneys. Anyhow, what you can do is to drink 3 - 3.5 liters of water a day so that the infection is flushed out, you can avoid using the same set of underwear again, always urinate before sex, before going to bed and first thing in the morning to avoid the urine bothering your bladder. The main thing is to drink lots of water and avoid rough sex/fingering for a while.

if you cannot afford to go to the doctors then visit your local emergency dept. they will see you and they will help you pay for the bill if you are uninsured or have low income........while you might think you have a UTI it could be numerous other things and left untreated could cause damage. for instance if you have a UTI and it goes untreated you could end up with a kidney infection which is extremely painful and can cause damage to the kidney.take care of your body its your vehicle! u only get one. and yes drink some cranberry juice it helps.if its too strong for your liking knock it down with some water.hope u feel better.

WHY can you not go to the Dr's? Bladder infections are indeed serious and you need antibotics at once my dear...please don't ignore this. You need to be examined for a proper diagnosis, even if it's just a urine test. Drink more water (not coffee) and get seen. Good luck.

sometimes drinking a lot of cranberry juice can help relieve symptoms. ask your pharmacist if they can give you something for mild urine infections. if none of these work over the next week i would mess about, just go to the doctors and get some antibiotics. usually its a three days course of tablets thyen its sorted.

coffee can make your symptoms much worse. Drink plenty of water or juices. Avoid coffee and sodas. If you don't go to the doctor, you could develop a kidney infection. If you still don't go to the doctor after your kidneys become infected, you could die. Go to the doctor!!!!!
