I think you can find a truthful person, but I also think you are more likely not to if you don't frequent a website with people who have similar interests to at least one of yours (besides dating).
If you get beyond simple "hi, how are yous" and talk for more than a few days, you probably know there are certain things you have to attempt to figure out: are they crazy in a bad way, are they good people, how much do you like them, etc. Fifteen minutes is usually long enough (online.) Talk more to the ones who seem concerned about you and let you talk about them too. If they're only wanting to talk about you, something's not quite right.

I don't lie on the Internet. I try to be as honest as possible. I guess some ppl do lie just so you'll set up a chat with them or maybe they have other reasons.
