After surgery, I thought I could make it without painkillers. I was wrong. The anesthetic wore off just as the pharmacy closed, too, so I had to wait until 8:00 the next morning to get them. It wasn't that it was that intense of a pain, but it was constant. That's what was so bad about it. Right now, I've got either three or four bruised ribs. I haven't seen the need to tell my employer yet, because working doesn't bother me that much, yet.

The most agonizing pain I have ever gone through was, and partially still is heart ache after I broke up with my exboyfriend/best friend. I was young and stupid, didnt know that men just kept things to themselves, and misread everything. Went through many years bad depression, and then major grief.
I think this pain is the worse pain and I dont ever expect it to go away.

Wisdom tooth pain that was undiagnosed as a hole in it for 6 long, long months. If I'd had a gun I'd have blown my head off. Oh, and childbirth with no pain relief was a breeze compared to the tooth pain

Falling off my horse and almost braking my back. I had to stay in bed for four months and after that i had to wear a metal thing to keep my back straight for another four months.
I felt like Robocop and it hurt like hell.
