Since no one was around, we have to use the evidence that remains.

The general consensus is that a meteor hit the earth (either off the Yucatan Peninsula of Mexico or in Northern Quebec, Canada). This meteor was massive and caused a great deal of dust to become airborne. This kept enough sunlight from reaching the ground, so enough plants died that food sources dried up. With this, the vast majority of dinosaurs died...

And technically, dinosaurs aren't extinct. The smaller dinosaurs are the evolutionary predecessors of birds...these small dinosaurs survived because they were smaller and thus needed less food to survive...

The cause, accepted by most people, is climate change caused by a meteor impact. This raised a cloud of dust that cooled the earth slightly, causing widespread famine and climate changes the dinosaurs were not able to cope with. The reason was so that man could evolve.

apparently everyone is on the meteor theory , which indeed may or not be , correct , but one things for sure they ran out of food supplies ; whether that was the result of climate change is probably the most realistic answer , but none theless the ice age 's impact certainly had a say in the demise of the dinosaur ; but not all of them --- in the plant world cycads still survive very well as do mammals such as crocodiles . who knows for sure ; at least mankind wasn't around to be accused of the world's demise back then .

I heard a huge meteor hit the earth, causing a lot of dust to spread in the atmosphere which led to lack of sunlight and temperature drop. Only those animals that were able to adapt to the new conditions survived and dinosaurs weren't among them...

The most acceptable theory is that a giant asteroid hit earth, somewhere in Yucatan (that's today's Mexico) causing a cataclysmic event that killed most cold blooded animals (including dinosaurs) , but some reptiles, birds, and especially early mammals survived.
this occurred 65 million years ago at the end of the Jurassic period.

Big asteroid, 65 millions years ago. Proof is a thin layer of iridium, (rare metal on Earth but found on some asteroids), that can be found everywhere on Earth, at the level corresponding to 65 million years. Almost all remains of dinosaurs (as well as many other species) disapear after this period.

I have a site for you. You don't even have to believe in the Bible, this is just too believeable. I was a sceptic most of my life. Trying to find out the hidden truths in the midst of lies. Even as a young child I would get punised for continueously asking the teachers to explaine there theroys and why they believe what they believe. This man is a creationist, but mind you, he was a scientist for 15 years. He knows what he is talking about. Trust me.
