Yes, maybe not so much lucky, but blessed, we have been married over 20 years and sometimes I can't believe it's been so long. It seems like yesterday that we just started out. Others times, it feels like forever.
Marriage, or being partners isn't easy , and takes some doing to get over the rough patches, but all in all, I wouldn't change a thing about him, he is my own dear love.
My wish for you is that you'll remember this special time, and when the going gets a bit rocky, you'll have these days to help you through. Good fortune to you and your chap.

Not only do I count myself lucky but also appreciate what I have in my wonderful husband even though he snores for England. He is also lucky to have me and he also appreciates me for who and what I am despite having to cover myself with the whole quilt all night.
A partnership takes a lot of hard work and accepting one anothers faults and not trying to change that person works well. The fact he saw your trouble and then helped out is a good man indeed and shows how tuned in he is to you and your needs.
Show him how much you appreciate what he has done with a lovely meal cooked for him by you. A relationship is all about give and take on both sides and showing appreciation when needed.
Good luck with this relationship you have found a good one and there are many about not all men are asses!

I do, my man of 6 years is the most considerate and caring man I've known, he even likes my moody, childish tantrums (most times) after knowing a few wan kers I was quick to learn the value of a good man and he as transformed me from a whore to an upstanding law abiding character. I love him soooo much, Corrrrr Michi,

this always confuses me, a couple of years back I was on a training course and went out with a group of people that were on it as well, my mate came along and a slightly older lady was droning on about how great her hubby was and how in love they were, by the end of the night she gave him a blow*J*OB in the toilets. Its things like that that make me ever so slightly cynical about women.

I tell my wife all the time how lucky she is to have me. Every time I tell her she takes a laughing fit.
