Any nursery will sell bonsai's and have information. they even sell them at florist.Good Luck...

I have many Bonsai I've been growing for 25 years, the first thing I tell someone is your just training a tree to be a Bonsai meaning 'tree in a pot' Most importantly find out what kind of tree your culturing & find out it's personal needs to keep it healthy. Any tree can be a Bonsai, so sucess in growing it begins with knowing what species of plant your growing. You can find books in a library and Bookstores but they will only train you in the art of training a Bonsai, not the proper care. They are very easy to grow and pruning, basically is what makes a bonsai a picture of nature in miniature.They're may be Bonsai Clubs that meet in your area - try googling Bonsai Clubs' or go to geocities they're all over the place.
