We didn't have anything engraved in our American Wedding Bands when we got married. When we got our German Wedding Bands on our Fifth Anniversary, the Jewelers engraved his name/Anniversary Date *mmddyyyy* in mine and my name/Anniversary Date *mmddyyyy* in his.

Hawaiin wedding bands also have beautiful bands with the engraving in Old English or whatever you wish on the ring itself with the names in Hawaiin on any type of band you wish.

Anything special that means something to the two of you... nicknames, "I love you," the day you get married, the day you met, the name of your song... be creative and enjoy it. You could each pick what to put on the other person's ring and suprise them... that would be kind of fun.
