travelling to where? doing what? and is that on the back of the poor creature or tugging a cart ....
Donkeys are docile--meaning they got no where to go in a hurry. Excellent for carrying your backpack!
horse, more sturdy,more power and can gallop.

Probably a horse a donkey is really slow and lazy but a horse is fast and can get you where you need to go.

Horse. Horses can be made into a delicious jerky that can keep for months. Donkey taste a little gamey and the meat is too stringy.

I used to dis da donkey, but I went to Jordan recently and saw them going up and down the mountains packed to the max, so if it's hills your going, defiantly da donkey

depends on how long you are traveling for and how quiclkly you want to get there aswell as your luggage. i would recomend a horse.
