why yahoo answer stop answering questions as much?

Every since they updated the yahoo answer website, I have not been getting many answer like I use to. What happend

I have noticed a lot of the "Old" answerer's are backing off . It could be because we have all gotten bogus violations! I woke up one morning and found I had 50 points removed no reason was given just a bunch of violations?? Another time I got best answer then 2 weeks later they took 12 points for a violation no reason just you have a violation and it was from the UK I have always been on the USA site? I think some are tired of the ambiguous rules.
