Yu know the cost differes where yu are constructing, hills or plain, mumbai or indore, floors, finishing etc....

On an average it costs about Rs. 500 to Rs. 1500 per square feet for an independant residential house in a B class city of India. This cost is apart from the cost of land for the house.

It depends on asthetic & facilities you need, for a normal middle class house it may cost anything between Rs.600 to 1000 a Sq.Ft.

Speak to building contractors in your area and ask what they charge "per square foot" to build such a house and simply multiply the number(s) that you get by 600, individually, to get a ball park figure.
