Years ago,my son made his own Freddy glove for his Halloween costume. He started with a gray cotton gardening glove. He cut 10 identical knife blades from shirt cardboard ( you could use poster board ) and used gray duct tape to attach them to each other ( 2 blades for each finger,he made a sort of blade-like sleeve by covering them completely in duct tape leaving the bottom open ) When he had 5 blades completed,he slipped the finger of the glove into them and attached them using those brass brads,one on each side of the blade and poked them through the fabric of the glove. I hope this is what you are talking about and that the instructions aren't too muddled to understand.
