Organic food is the best way to go. However some foods from the grocery store with fewest additives are Cracker Jacks, peanut bars, Kix cereal, 7-up, popcorn, ricecakes. Shop on the outside aisles and try to stay away from the middle rows in the store. Don't eat things in cans and boxes, stick with frozen and fresh. Whole grains is not wheat sensitive, many ADHD kids are. Try Silk if dairy sensitive.

ADHD is a talent when it is mastered - our problem is that our culture looks at it as a disorder. Many of our greates inventors were ADHD so be proud and encourage the creativity and curiosity.

stay away from food dyes like "yellow # 5, red dye #40" etc.

these dyes are made from petroleum (yep the same substance as gasoline is made from)

these dyes mess up brain functions and thinking processes in the brain (since the brain functions are all electrical, it would make sense)

I put both of my kids on a dye-free meal plan when they were toddlers, and the had excellent results!

I also found the supplement called lecithin helps ALOT! you can find it in the health food store, and it works wonders!

Note: all the ADHD symptoms return if my children eat anything with food dyes.....

Go organic, no preservatives or additives, it helps their concentration. No bananas after 2pm, they cause hyperactivity. Avoid tomatoes too.
