It depended. With my daughter, there was a lot of damage done (I'm talking over 200 stitches) during delivery, so we waited about 6 weeks (after my follow-up appt). We waited to make sure that we didn't do more harm if we did it too soon. With my son, (normal delivery) we only waited about 2 - 3 weeks. As soon as I felt "normal" again.

I knew I had to wait untill the bleeding stopped,so I waited that long..about 6 weeks after I had my son.

I didnt even wait til the stitches came out...If vaginal intercourse is to painful, you always got more options...i.e. backdoor, and BJ's.
