If u have ur own office,how to make it a pleasant place?

My office's enviroment is too dull.All I have are computer,desk and chairs. I don't even feel like working in this boring place....

How can I make it more pleasant that makes me really enjoy working in this office?

You don't say what kind of an office you have. Is it a real office with floor to ceiling walls, or part of a cube farm (like Dilbert's)? Either way, try putting up a few pictures that you feel harmonize with your personality. I've seen offices with pictures that ranged from oil paintings to cartoons. Try to find what works best for you.

The work place is far more interesting if you
1.) Fill it with/Share it with intereting, witty, cheerful, bright,articulate and freindly people.
2.)Light, coz dark places without views (a parking lot is much more interesting than a wall) tend to put people to sleep.
3.)no annoying telephone ring tones.
4.) take your breaks.....

ask your boss if it would be permisible to bring in a few appropriate items from home and maybe a couple of live plants to brighten up your office and make it feel more like home !
