People on here can ask the most stupid question and then when you reply with any kind of a remark or answer, they report you for a violation. I just received such a notice.
Yet Yahoo seems to let people post the mot distasteful questions with outright filth, racially motivated, and some almost down right

sacreligous questions. What are your thoughts. looking for some rel good answers to this. seems there is no way we can as yahoo users tell yahoo what we think of their allowing these things to go on.
This upset me some and made me wonder if I really want to continue and help those who really are seeking an answer.

I understand. I got reported for a violation because I told a girl my opinion of her trying to steal a married man from his wife and kids. I didn't tell her what she wanted to hear so she reported me. I didn't even use any cuss words (even though I wanted to) or call her any names (like the most obvious in her case). So I replied to customer service saying that much and saying my response to her question wasn't obsene or rude in any way. That I was simply giving her my honest opinion and it wasn't what she wanted to hear, so she reported me. I told them to read my response and then compare them to some of the questions and other answers posted on here. I told them that when people ask questions, I give them my honest answer whether it's what they want to hear or not. And I shouldn't be in violation of anything for answering a question. Of course, they won't do anything, but it's the principle. People can be down right immature and pig headed. My thing is, don't ask if you really don't want to know. Cuz I will tell you.

You can only guess that it was them that reported you. There's an awful lot of people who only want to hear people agree with them. If you don't then they report you. Yahoo needs to address abuse of the system in that way!

Since we are only given your question to go by, I'd say choose your wording to be less offensive and don't worry about what others get away with.
