I voted for Kerry for the following reasons (And would not change)
1. John Kerry at least had the courage to go to Viet Nam, Georgie Bush did not and all of his lies cannot change the fact that he avoided service during that period.
2. I believe that Kerry is smarter than Bush, which is not saying much.
Please understand: I have not had what I considered to be a decent candidate for President in at least 20 years. Both parties are nominating the worst of all possible alternatives -- the lowest common denominator. Where are the leaders? The Kennedys, Carters, Eisenhowers, Regans?
