You need light for colour, in the centre of the earth there will be no light - hence no colour.

It is however orange in text books as they equate "molten" with "on fire" and that would make it red or orange,

Earths Core is a Molten Iron Ball spinning just slightly off centre.

Molten Iron would be Glowing White if it were possible to see it, but as no light escapes it it doesnt have a colour as such.

The core of the Earth is Iron based. This Iron is under extreme temperature and pressure. This means it will glow like Iron in an industrial smelter. So i think you get the picture. However this is a simplistic version and really the color is complex. If you seek out spectrum type Iron readouts on stars you will get a good feel for the color.

This is one question I doubt we will ever be able to answer. Colour is only the result of reflected light off an object. If we see something that is red, it means that only the red light is reflected away from the object. Something white for example, reflects all light. If the core of the Earth were to be exposed to light, then I doubt we would be around to see it.

Black surrounded by white, since the explosions just outside the core produce light and it is extremely hot.

temperature is supposed to be around 5000C, the mix of Iron and other metal a that temperature would most likely appear bright white to the eye (with likely a good dose of UV).

Think Arc lamp.
