Its a term used when yo want to express how much you were laughing. Being in stiches means you were laughing so hard that you had to be stiched back together since you were bursting at the seams from laughter. So yes, I have been in sttches before.

Yes, I had stitches on my head, when I had an accident...a while ago....loved it....my hair started to fall out....

Dozens of times. I was an active child. There were times when it looked like I had spiders all over me, actually. Now, I'm an active adult. Right now, I think I have three bruised ribs, maybe four.
