You can break it down into 360 degrees, but since each degree can further be broken down into decimals of a degree the answer is "infinite sides".

For all those who think about 2 sides of a circle. This would answer the following question: Into how many parts a circle divides the plane. Into 2: that part of the plane which is inside the circle, and that one which is outside it. The circle itself represents then the boundary.

For all those who think it has infinite number of sides. People, circle is NOT a polygon with infinite number of sides. You can't write n=infinity. A quantity may tend to infinity, but cannot be equal to infinity. Circle can be approximated by a right polygon with a big number of sides...

So the answer to your question is: none.

A circle has infinite sides. Consider a regular polygon with finite sides and keep adding sides without increasing area. the number of sides is too much to comprehend so we can say no of sides tends to infinity.

Either Two or Four, depending upon how you look at it.

Two Answer:
inside
outside

Four Answer:
inside
outside
top
bottom

(The last two are obvious. Draw the circle on a paper.
Stand the paper on any edge. The upper part of the circle is its top. The lower part of the circle is its bottom.

Purists will fight this idea, but it is common sense. And, common sense rules.
