web address's?

If and when I am writing to someone and want them to go to my web page www,e_vwd.com/96411gt it does not highlight and has to be copied and pasted onto my browser window before it can be read.what have I done to cause this.

after the www there should be a dot, not a comma. Correct this and you might be ok
