Wow ! They are quite different.
Nursing is a job that requires a high degree of dedication, and I would say that it is more of a vocation, than just a job. If you are going to do nursing, you should have a very strong desire to go in that direction.
Seaman is much more risky. The fishing industry is in serious decline, so I would not go there. Other areas may offer good opporetunities, but you have to bear in mind that you will be away from home for extended periods of time. If you are the adventurous type, this might be for you.

Florida helped a bunch of fisherman who were on hard times by teaching them Aquaculture, raising food fish, clams and shimp in tanks.
There ain't much in the way of jobs as a fisherman....Sorry

if you can handle sick people and willing to care for them be a nurse otherwise take the other job.
