Not true. It's the Bush administration that's the problem.
Clinton was very well liked. The U.S. was the darling of the world after World War II. It's not random U.S. bashing you're hearing from the international community, it's a reaction to actions taken by a unilateralist and dangerously destabilizing and irrational government.

I agree, but according to most politicians we have to be the moral authority. When we first went to Iraq, the Iraqi citizens told us that we have to use the same techniques that they use against us or it'll never end. This is too include torture, I'm not saying that we should torture captives, but they do it to us. I say that if a country doesn't abide by the Geneva Conventions than we shouldn't either. Eye for an eye, this way they would either stop using torture out of fear. Right now they have a motive, and unchecked motive because they have no fear of the consequences.

Because the Liberals in the government and media have made it a mission of thiers. I don't care what they think, we are hated and we are loved. Some don't have feelings either way. We have taken pride out of the schools, we have made pansies out of our children. We are Politically Correct and if you are you will be sued. The liberals are too concerned with kissing the E.U.'s butt that they will do anything and everything they want. I don't care, I do care about MY Country, what will all of you do if we lose our nation? Will you follow an Islamic Terrorist? Will you follow Mexico, France, Iran, the PLO? Not me.

I would argue that the majority of Americans are not hung up on world opinion.
There are those liberals, and the "intellectual elite" who are so concerned about what the world, especially Europe, thinks about us.
Personally, I could care less what the rest of the world thinks about us. We do what we think is best for our country - and for the rest of the world - but we're looking out for ourselves first.
It's the same way with your family. You shouldn't raise your children just to make your neighbors happy - you should do it the way you feel is best - and try to make yourself happy.

You have a point, but some people feel that the more people we p*** off the more problems we will have. Like for instance 9/11 happened because we made people mad, and so we should stop making people mad. Then there are those of us who say to hell with all of you! If you don't like us, then don't come over here, and don't send your families over here!

its true. you lot are doing such a fantastic job of everything you get involved in we should just pipe down and maybe we would learn something.
Maybe we should ignore American sovereignty and opinion and launch the New Orleans relief operation.
I don't want to see US destroyed. I want it to grow up to the point where US people don't elect someone they see as an average guy, like themselves. Don't you want to be lead by someone clever and inspirational?
