I think that Jessica Lange..who by the way is British, is not a great actress but one who has worked extremely hard to get to the top of her profession. And who can show some of the younger actresses a thing or too about acting.
Sissy Spacek...I think has the makings of a great actress. Her time will come.

Sissy Spacek has won more academy awards and is considered a more serious actress. Jessica Lange has had her moments. Check out "The Postman Always Rings Twice" or "Frances Farmer". Both are excellent.

Sissy Spacek is a wonderful actress, she has done almost about everything you can think of, very versatile, and Jessica Lang has done her share of good flicks, I believe she was limited, but entertaining in her own right.
