Mainly because people recite them so often and that the programs are aired so many times.
I cant never remember anything..

I wouldn't say that I can recall the words to songs but I know loads of catchphrases! Its just like anything else that someone might take an interest in-you try to rememeber stuff more.
dont forget there sooo many repeats that its almost impossible not to know all the words!!

noooo i have a memory like a seive. after a movie my friends will recite lines and i wont be able to at all! I can remember like...what was happening when a funny line was said, but i can't recall it. I can store the info, but i have problem with retreival. There are excersises you can do to improve memory retreival, if thats your problem :)
