It makes it easier to write or if you're lazy write it faster when you're texting. It's actually a shorten version of a word like what you said ne1= anyone or u= you. And yes i'm a kid. I do it and I CAN spell.

certain, my spelling and grammar is a few distance from acceptable yet some issues I see on listed the following are terrible. i will't trust each person might want to submit without even reading it first. i imagine we are going to have a era of children that not in basic terms can not do math because of calculators yet can not spell or write because of pcs and spell examine. At my son's college ( he's 7) we were informed that they were not likely to have weekly spelling assessments because they were unnecessary and took up too a lot time. My 13 three hundred and sixty 5 days previous, sorry to assert, has a demanding time spelling even easy words and no individual on the faculties fairly look to word. it really is outrageous!

FUZZY education. They are taught if you spell it like it sounds that is close enough. The perfect education system that the educators today want us to have were dreamed up as a simpler way of getting their point accross, but the problem is they made it too vauge and the students saw the err in their ways and run with it to the point they abbreviate words spell words the way they sound and speak in a slang form that justifies these spellings.

1337 5p34k! Actually, I don't know...I can spell quite coherently (and yes, you would count me as a kid), but I'm shocked by the number of people who make the STUPIDEST mistakes (whether unknowingly or not) like the ever-prevalent where, wear, were mixups along with a new breed of whear, whare, ware...etc...Or they spell whining as whinning...trivial little things like that that just irritate me...(so trivial that I can only think of several examples, but I *know* there are bajillions <-- I have kid-license to spell like a kid for fun every once in a while too! =]).
Edit: Oh and yes, my name is Anonymouse, but I noticed that immediately after I hit enter on the registering screen, but I didn't feel like it really mattered...

2 get as much as they can onto their text messages. They have predicted that the next generation will not be able to spell properly.

Most really do not know how to spell. Also it is faster for them to answer their email or text messaging and instant messaging.

It's the 'text' language. Something most of us adults don't understand. I compare it to Ebonics, (not trying to be ignorant about that), it's a language that is unique to them.
