i could say an ipod. however the only con is the battery life.. it mentioned 12-14 hours mine in trouble-free terms final 3-4 so no longer a reliable quailiy yet each little thing else is o.ok.Mine replaced into $219 yet you could now get em for below $a hundred and fifty

Whoever said ipods, memory for money wise, ipods are one of the worst mp3's. I would say phillips or zen.
Some electronics store should let you compare storage space and price, but it depends on how much you want to store.
