Can anybody tell me where i can buy a memory card (512M or 1G) that will fit this phone

I have the same phone but I can't use 1GB cards :( . I bought a 512MB from the Nokia shop. Cards are available at phone stores ( the ones that have original accessories such as chargers, data cables, Bluetooth adapters)

Nokia 6230i only supports cards up to 512MB.
It takes a standard MMC format card which should be easily available in any shop which sells cameras, phones, etc.

go to a nokia store near u or an authorised nokia dealership. that way,u get a good memory card instead of a virus carrier.

i got my 1gb card from ebay for £20 works a treat
