Matt Effect Cleansing means that the face wash will make your face "matt" rather than shiny. This means that it will get rid of the oils. Most Matt cleansers will be creamy, and contain clay but little soap. If a cleanser has too much soap in it then sometimes it can cause the sebum glands in your skin to over produce and you end up in a vicious cycle!
May I reccomend Neutorgena 2 in 1 wash and Mask or Clearasil cream wash. (twith the little micor beasds to gently exfoliate away the blackheads and whiteheads.
