A decent mug, seems to keep the tea warmer for longer plus the fact that you need 2 cups of tea for every mug saves time

I like a mug because they tend to be bigger. I like the way a mug is shaped, as well. I can wrap my hands around it. A cup is way to formal for me and I feel I need to stick that pinkie finger out there.

Now, regardless of which vessel I'm actually using, I call them all cups.

A nice big MUG of hot tea, but coffee should really come in a GLASS with cream floating on top - YUMMEE (and maybe a little extra as well - Cointreau's my favourite). Cups are for grannies and posh people! Hang on a minute...I'm a granny...and I've got lotsa cups! (But I never use 'em!) Anyway, definitely a mug because you get more and they come with such good designs on! Oh, and it doesn't matter if they don't all match!

Cups, but they have to be bone china coz the tea tastes better out of a china cup. People on here have said that mugs are better coz you get more in them. Well, ever heard of making a pot of tea and refilling the cup? The saucers are excellent for storing biscuits before the ritual dunking in the afore mentioned beverage.

Coffee is an alien drink and the excretion of Beelzebub.
