A snow flake consists of a single water crystal. Fallen snow consists of layers of these crystals interspace with air. As the snow is compacted the air is removed and the snow becomes more ice like. After many years all the air is removed ad the snow will cease to be white and instead will appear as blue ice. So the differece is that ice has little air, snow has lots.

It's almost like the difference between graphite and diamonds: it's made up of the same stuff, but arranged a different way.
Think of whipping egg whites: you start with a layer of liquid with air above it. As you whip the whites, the air is combined into the liquid and its physical properties change, without any chemical reaction: it becomes stiffer and takes up more volume. Snow is like "whipped ice" - the very open crystal structure means there's a whole load of air in there, making it much less dense than ice, and making it behave totally differently. But it's made of the same stuff.
NB I'm not saying snow started as ice - it starts as water vapour freezing out of the air in conditions (humidity, pressure etc) where it doesn't form droplets first - otherwise you get hail.

Ice is Solid from and Snow is crushed ice, which is smooth and less in weight and is made artificially. Snow is created by nature when climate becomes cool beyound 0 degrees the water drops in climate becomes AS Snow.

snow is soft and ice is hard! snow tends to be lots of individual snowflakes that fall from the sky and ice is a mass of water (small or large) that is frozen

Snow is precipitation in the form of crystalline water ice, consisting of a multitude of snowflakes. Since it is composed of small rough particles it is a granular material. It has an open and therefore soft structure, unless packed by external pressure.

Snow is frozen and crystalized water vapor as frost on a window pane, and ice is formed from water either with or without mineral content.

Don't know the scientific difference, but I'd rather fall over on the snow cos it's soft.
