Nope, not commission. Its known as "royalty"

Meaning of Royalty as per the dictionary :

A share paid to a writer or composer out of the proceeds resulting from the sale or performance of his or her work.

A "royalty" would be if you got a share of each magazine sold; the more they sell, the more you make.

A "fee" is a flat dollar amount that you are paid for an article or column. For example, you might receive a $200 fee for writing an article. You would receive no more, regardless of how many copies are sold.
