I seem to remember that you heat them up in a microwave together with some water adn something else...a little vegetable oil perhaps?

well i don't know about that..but I do a few things of my own...i grate them into potpourri dishes ...put them in socks and use them for washing up outside..like in the garden...after doing yard work....you can even melt them down with wax...and make scented candles...dove smells so good....

I haven't made liquid soap out of left over soap before, but I usually squash the left over slither onto a new soap bar and it works really well.

I usually squeeze them together with the new soap.
I thought liquid soap was a completely different item which used chemicals rather than animals in its make up (Ingredients)

Bin them. Instead buy some L'Occitane liquid soap, or Molton Brown liquid soap cost about 12 quid and lasts for ages. Its really cheap skate melting down soap, sounds like something my nan would have done during the war.

how about not being so cheap and throw them away and buy some liquid soap.
