1. Never put anything in you ear. You can wash the outside of the ear with cotton wool or a sponge, but that is all.

2. Now that you have put something in your ear, ABSOULTELY DO NOT let a friend or family member try to pull it out with tweezers - they could perforate your eardum and/or cause a serious infection.

3. Go to the doctors and have him/her remove it under direct vision using an auroscope and specialist forceps.

4. See point 1 above

I done the same but it was with Cotton wool only did I realise this when I attended the docs thinking it was wax. The nurse got it out so I advice you to go to the nurse depending on how far down it is, if you can see it carefully use tweezers to get it out. Also a tip which I learnt never put anything in your ear apart from your elbow ;)

You really should see a Dr. or nurse because you may find that any form of removal you try and use pushes the bud further into the ear canal and may cause damage. There are some NHS walk in clinics which may be quicker. If all else fails consult a local pharmacy.

nope u may go have it removed bacteria can build up in the iner ear leading to problems later. try audie clean for cleaning ur ears from now on it a fine mist spray that breaks down ear wax allowing it to drain naturaly from the ear no need for buds as they only push the wax deeper into the ear. buy it in most chemists.

You need to get the doctors and get it syringed!

Your not the first and certainly not the last to do that, my partner has done it. Apparently they syringed both ears and he said a massive ball of cotton came out of both, it was a build up of cotton from using cotton buds. Yuck!!!

Go see the nurse at your local docors surgery. She will sort it for you in no time at all. Never poke anything in your ears, including cotton buds. It can do severe damage to your hearing. FACT

please go to the doc and get it removed. talking from personal experience. got a severe ear infection as a result of using ear buds and it was so bad, the doc cdnt say how badly my ears were damaged. i had to take antibiotics for almost 3 weeks to get rid of the infection in both the ears. i dont even look at ear buds now.

You really should get it removed by someone who can use an otoscope to avoid pushing it further into the ear canal; don't try to take it out yourself or you risk damaging your eardrum. If its left in for too long it can be an infection risk.

THIS IS VERY SERIOUS!

Go to the doctor straight away because any foreign object inside the ear is BAD. Even if you get some out yourself you should just go and get it checked out.
