* Love for each other
* Respect for each other
A lot can be read into those simple things (listed in no particular order) but it can be HARD to find and even HARDER to maintain.

That they are the opposite sex, good morals, standards and values, hard-working, educated, compassionate, a potentially good father, a devoute Christian, and wants to marry me before having sex.
That's what I'm married to anyway now! Would never have it any other way...
tried the live-in crap with someone else who I desperately thought I loved, and it was CRAP.
